Ghoultown takes Elvira, Mistress of the Dark back to her rock-n-roll roots!
March 2009 - Check out the new music video for Texas hellbilly band Ghoultown's song "Mistress of the Dark", honoring the The Mistress herself, Elvira! Elvira stars in the video, with her famous Macabre Mobile and seductively dark style.
Guest starring David Backhaus and directed by Gris Grimly! Video will be released in a DVD package featuring the "Mistress of the Dark" music video, along with other gruesome goodies including a "making of" documentary. Elvira plays hostess for the Prince of Brunei's Birthday Bash in London.
June 2009 - Yours Cruelly just returned from the Party of the Year -- a joint birthday bash for 26-year-old Prince Azim of Brunei and his siblings, Prince Mateen, Princess Azemah, & Princess Fadzillah.
This party had it all: Hollywood stars, celebrity singers, one of England's finest stately homes, 6,000 white roses and ELVIRA!
The A-list celebrities who came to the Prince's party at Stapleford Park country house in Leicestershire, England included Actresses such as Sophia Loren, Faye Dunaway, Ursula Andress, Joan Collins, model Jerry Hall, and singers Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.
Also at the party were newer members of the Hollywood scene, Adam Gregory, Robert Buckley and Sean Faris.
Elvira was the hostess with the mostess for the evening's entertainment which starred singer/songwriter Chaka Khan and Incognito, the British jazz, funk and soul band.

Elvira's ater-ego Cassandra Peterson emerges in new cult horror film, All About Evil.
July 2009 - All About Evil centers around a mousy librarian, who has inherited her father’s beloved but failing old movie house. In order to save the family business she discovers her inner serial killer — and a legion of rabid gore fans — when she starts turning out a series of grisly shorts. What her fans don’t realize yet is that the murders in the movies are all too real.
A motley crew of talent has been assembled to make All About Evil a cult classic like no other, including stars Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Dekker, Cassandra “Elvira Mistress of the Dark” Peterson, Mink Stole, Noah Segan, Jack Donner, Julie-Caitlin Brown, and Peaches Christ.
Following in the footsteps of last year’s independent films MILK and LA MISSION, ALL ABOUT EVIL will be filmed entirely on location in the San Francisco Bay Area where fog and blood make for the perfect EVIL back-drop. August 2009 - After twelve summer seasons of cult film festival Midnight Mass at The Bridge Theatre, it only seems fitting to have the ultimate finale feature the hugely anticipated return of the one-and-only Elvira, live and in- person. Mass Hostess Peaches Christ and Elvira have been touring the country with an anniversary show celebrating the 1988 cult film classic, Elvira: Mistress Of The Dark and are finally bringing it home and giving the show it's San Francisco premiere. Peaches' dear ghoul-friend, Elvira, will make a rare appearance in full goth drag with performance, an on-stage interview, audience Q&A, post-show fan meet and greet, and more. Also, the two dark divas plan to give the Midnight Mass audience a never-before-seen sneak peak at a scene from All About Evil, the upcoming feature film co-starring Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) and Peaches Christ, directed by Joshua Grannell.

October 2009 - CHILLLLLLER THEATRE RETURNS!
Get out your needle and thread, because Elvira is about to tear things up on WPiX 11's Chiller Theatre with a special showing of The Evil of Frankenstein airing from 8-10 pm on Saturday, October 31st. "Chiller Theater" originally began on New York's WPIX Channel 11 in 1961. In 1963 the show featured another legendary horror host, Zacherley ("The Cool Ghoul"). After a 26 year absence on the New York air waves, "Chiller Theatre" has been resurrected as an annual Halloween special for the second year in a row. The 1964 campy chiller “The Evil of Frankenstein” —from Hammer Film Productions, one of the most famous names in horror— Peter Cushing stars as Baron Frankenstein who resurrects his monster only to have him come under the spell of Zoltan, a svengali-like carnival hypnotist who mesmerizes the creature into doing his evil bidding.
